As Head of Story at 55degrees, I worked with the video and design teams to develop narratives and treatments for the 40 plus AV stories that are featured in Riverside Museum. Initially my role was taking the lead during story and narrative discussions between 55degrees and the client, this included briefing the teams to ensuring that the client’s requirements and vision were incorporated into the treatments created by the teams. Latterly I was involved in technical discussions of the project, and was the director and editor on Ship Launch.
- Director, editor on the key attract “Ship Launch” a 9 by 6 meter 5 screen piece, with12 speakers and physical effects.
- Initial treatments and narrative development for Speeding, Tram dancing, Pawn Shop, Subway War, Taxi Driver, Rowing Ashore, Cinema and Showman’s Journey. These were realised (with further development) by the wider 55degrees team.
- Identifying staff requirements, interviewing and recruiting.
